the graphic was cool! the way they fought each other was superb! the spells, magic, traps, and all were good but the movie is lack of story. i'll tell you later. bot, this movie is pack with CGI and amazing graphic. *how many steel bird you can find flying in the New York? hahaha. ain't it cool? i loike the way they fought. the lighting and fire, well, that's cool. *if only i'm a sorcerer, cleaning the house will be so much easier.
the storyline wasn't that good. my first thought when watching this movie was, "This is an action and fiction movie, right?" but it turned more to the love story. you know? the action movie must be fulled in actions. good guys kill bad guys, bad guys kill good guys but in this movie, good guy kill bad woman. and bad guy in the loose. i mean like, the protagonist, Dave is a good student in Physics *urrgghhh and he's chosen to be a Prime Merlinan *something like that and he's the apprentice of Balthazar, the man who couldn't get old. *that's good, ya know? Dave has a girl he likes, *damn, i forgot her name. sorry. and he's the only one who can kill the bad sorcerer, Morgana *i remembered the cold-blooded witch but not Dave's gf. who's in the Balthazar's gf, Victoria. *are you confused? because i am. nevertheless, Horvart, the Morgana's assistant have to free Morgana in some kind of thing. *i forgot the thing name. huh, do you understand me? and as everyone would know, Dave killed Morgana, world in peace, love is growing. tadaa~ the end. wtf? just that? the ending wasn't that good ya know? i want more. the actions, the magics, not the science facts! when they explained about the science + magic, i was like, "What?" and "Please, could you explain that again?" *lol. maybe i'm bad in science but i loike movies, please, don't kill a good movie like that. *hmph, this is just an opinion okay?
the characters weren't like Cinderella story. even though the heroin, *Dave's gf is beautiful, blonde hair but her prince wasn't that good looking. i think the director wants an average joe has a superpower. *lmao. i think he's okay. his master hotter than him, i guess. i'm not Nicholas Cage fan, but i think he's more stand out than him. *sorry. Horvart is kinda cool even though he's a bad asshole. Victoria is pretty too. this movie needs a cooler main actor.
this movie has morale values too. *i guess. love, yup, check. your love one is more important than the dying world and the sicko witch. *wth? hmm, but as usual, the hero suddenly can use strong magic and kill the sicko witch. *awesome but too cliche. second, hmm, what is it? ouh yeah. magic can be bad.*i loike the part where the mops and sweepers can clean a dirty place without we using hands! third, don't be a bad guy or you'll be killed. *hehehehe
overall, i pick 3 out of 5. credits to the graphic and magics but not the storyline. this movie was okay but not that good. thumbs up for saving the world from wicked witch but thumbs down for the love story plot. *who wants the second Spiderman plot? save the world, get a gf. too cliche, too lame.
