don't misunderstand the title. hoho. last day of 2010, yesterday i mean, my cousins, Ucu, my lil sister and me went to JJ Bukit Tinggi to watch Gulliver's Travel. well, i'd say the review for this movie, so let's get writing!
Plot: the guy named, Gulliver and he's a mail boy in some magazine company. he actually just a plain guy who talk tall tales. but one day after cheated his dream princess, Darcy, *by writing a copy-paste article for travelling column, he got an assignment to write an article about Bermuda Triangle. so things happen, *very bad thing happen, he got stranded on kingdom called Liliput. that's how the story goes on. well, this movie is very laughable movie. i laughed in every funny parts, *that's good for a gag movie, and somehow, it brings moral values too. Gulliver's Travel based on movie has a little twist, *okay i lied, it has a major twist, from the novel.
Characters: Jack Black is the Gulliver. so, you could guess how he acts in this movie. oh BTW, i like how the little people talk. very polite. *seriously. i think the little princess, *acted by Emily Blunt, had said a very interesting word; forlorn. yup, i like her character.
Moral Values: don't talk tall tales, for sure. sometimes boasting maybe fun and pleasantry but it's not a biggest and coolest thing to do when people found out about it. just say, it will be very mortifying to you if you got caught in the act.
Ratings: i'd say maybe 3.5 out of 5. it was very entertaining but maybe just that. it lost something, i guess the x-factor because one thing for sure, it doesn't give me another reason to watch it again. but it's not so bad. you guys should watch it. *i assumed it lost a cute male character. yup, that XD
