Sherlock Holmes

I have watched the first movie via DVD and it took me about three weeks to watch the sequel (too much assignments haihh). I watched this movie with my other gorgeous ladies; Syu, Peanut and Farah. We all thought this movie was awesome except Farah who was asleep through the movie (never mind, I'll find someone like you :P)

Plot: Sherlock Holmes is back! He was my favorite fiction character (so far) and if he was real, I will say 'I do' immediately when I meet him. Okay, back to point (he he). The first movie ended with Sherlock Holmes finally found his match. In this sequel, his match was Professor Moriarty - his sole enemy and rival. Professor Moriarty was so clever and cunning - his skills were almost impressive as Sherlock Holmes. But no worries Sherlockian, (a term describing Sherlock Holmes' fan) he got an amazing sidekick, Dr. Watson. He was also assisted by Sim - a gypsy lady and a fore teller - and his brother, Mycroft Holmes (he's hilarious, really.) With all his might and brain cells, he tried to stop the maniac professor from destroying the world.

Characters: AS I mentioned at above, they are the main characters in this movie (of course, they appeared a lot in the movie) but there are also a few other characters that helped to spice up the movie; Irene Adler (she's probably one of the main reasons why I hated the professor) and Mrs. Watson (they were married, FINALLY). These characters although came rarely in this movie, they left impact in my mind - I remembered them, at least!

Moral Values: There are moral values in Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadow but I want to emphasize this one thing - I really hope I'm as great as Sherlock Holmes. He had a great sense of humor (plus his sense of sarcasm) and he was skillful with his fists, guns, locks, secret codes and disguise. I really hope I can do all those things mentioned. So this is the moral value of the movie - learn, learn, learn and learn until you are tired to learn or old enough to learn.

Ratings: I would give this movie a 5 out of 5. Yes, full stars. I love this movie so much that I will buy the DVD after it comes out. A good collector must have a complete collection, am I right? (ha ha) Besides that, this movie has everything; love, romance, tragedy, loss, witty characters, Robert Downey Jr., comedy, cross dressing, logic, British lifestyle, action scenes and a bit of history. What else do you want?
