A perfect family

The first movie I watched in October was Dream House. Firstly I thought it was a horror movie but it wasn't. However it was okay. Just okay. Wanna know why? Read below.

Plot: A family of four moved to a house in a quiet neighborhood. Daniel Craig as Will Atenton is a good husband to Libby by Rachel Weisz (I like her in Mummy trilogy). They have two daughters and lived just an ordinary life. However, the new house held a dark secret. Before them, there was a family too, brutally killed by they thought was the husband. But there's more than meets the eyes.

Characters: Dream House has Daniel Craig (James Bond with awesome body xD), Rachel Weisz (Mummies don't follow her around in this movie, okay?) and Naomi Watts as their neighbor. I've gotta admit that at first, I dislike Daniel Craig. I mean, I watched James Bond and Daniel Craig as the 007 Agent isn't as cool I thought it would be. Putting that aside, I think Daniel Craig as a caring-loving-animated father slash husband in Dream House has changed my mind. (He rocks in it! xD)

Moral Values: Dream House isn't a horror movie. It has ghosts but they don't scare me (except only one part.) This movie could teach you about a horrible murder that happened and how it affects people but the real moral value in this movie is family. Yes, family. Throughout the movie, you could easily affected by this family's affection towards each other. Even at the end it touched me. It was hard to leave a family - even though you have a great distaste towards each other.

Ratings: Hmm...I think Dream House deserves 2 out of 5. Overall this movie was okay but like I said earlier, it was only okay. It has the family thingy throughout this movie and maybe some thriller but nothing else. Some parts were just melodramatic and stereotype and some explanations seemed awkward. I mean, in this movie you got the 'OH MY GOD HE DIDN'T' moment but it disappeared as the movie goes by. Go watch it if you want to know the ending - it maybe worth it.

p/s: The next movie is one of the movies in my 'must-watch' list. Stay tuned xD
